Peran dan Efektivitas Kelompok Tani “Citra Kesuma” dalam Program Sertifikasi Buah Jambu Air Thongsamsi (Syzygium Aqueum) di Desa Jati Kesuma Kecamatan Namorambe Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

Sertifikasi buah merupakan proses dimana suatu badan atau lembaga mengesahkan atau memberikan sertifikat bahwa buah yang dihasilkan memenuhi standart tertentu setelah melalui tahapan pemeriksaan, pengujian, dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) untuk mengetahui peran kelompok tani sebagai fungsi belajar, wahana kerjasama dan unit produksi dan usaha dalam program sertifikasi buah. 2) untuk mengetahui efektivitas kelompok tani pada produktivitas kelompok dan kepuasan anggota kelompok dalam program sertifikasi buah. 3) untuk mengetahui hubungan antara peran dengan efektivitas kelompok tani dalam program sertifikasi buah. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Likert digunakan untuk mengetahui peran dan efektivitas kelompok tani. Sedangkan untuk hubungan antara peran dengan efektivitas kelompok tani, digunakan uji Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran kelompok tani dan efektivitas kelompok tani termasuk pada kategori yang sama yaitu setuju atau berperan dan berefektivitas. Hasil analisis hubungan menunjukkan bahwa peran dengan efektivitas kelompok tani dalam program sertifikasi buah berhubungan nyata dengan keeratan sebesar 0,656 yang berarti termasuk pada kategori erat. Fruit certification is the process in which an organization or institution certifies that the fruit produced meets certain standards after going through stages of inspection, testing, and supervision. This research aimed 1) to determine the role of farmer groups as a learning function, a platform for cooperation, and a production and business unit in the fruit certification program. 2) To assess the effectiveness of farmer groups on the group's productivity and member satisfaction in the fruit certification program. 3) To determine the correlation between the role and effectiveness of the farmer group in the fruit certification program. The research method used was a descriptive quantitative method. Likert was used to determine the role and effectiveness of the farmer group. The Rank Spearman test was used to examine the correlation between the role and effectiveness of the farmer group. The research results showed that both the role and effectiveness of the farmer groups were categorized as agreeing or having a role and being effective. The correlation analysis results showed that the role and effectiveness of the farmer group in the fruit certification program were significantly correlated with a strength of 0.656, which means it falls under the "strong" category.
