Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai modulus geser tanah berdasarkan data Cone Penetration Test (CPT) pada proyek pembangunan Rumah Sakit Umum Madani Medan. Modulus geser merupakan parameter penting dalam geoteknik yang mencerminkan kekakuan tanah terhadap gaya geser. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan empiris dengan menghitung modulus elastisitas (E) dari nilai cone resistance (qc), kemudian menghitung modulus geser (G) menggunakan hubungan elastisitas linier G = E/2(1 + 2μ), dengan asumsi rasio Poisson (μ) sebesar 0,3. Nilai E diperoleh dari rumus E=α⋅qc dengan α = 4, mengacu pada klasifikasi tanah keras. Hasil pengujian CPT menunjukkan bahwa lapisan tanah keras berada pada kedalaman 9,20 hingga 11,00 meter, dengan nilai G berkisar antara 24.026 hingga 25.004 kPa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disarankan penggunaan pondasi dalam (tiang pancang atau tiang bor) dengan kedalaman hingga 11 meter untuk mencapai lapisan tanah keras secara optimal. This study aims to analyze the shear modulus of soil based on Cone Penetration Test (CPT) data at the construction site of Madani General Hospital in Medan. The shear modulus is a crucial geotechnical parameter that represents the stiffness of soil against shear forces. An empirical approach was used by first calculating the elastic modulus (E) from cone resistance (qc), followed by computing the shear modulus (G) using the linear elasticity equation G = E/2(1 + 2μ), assuming a Poisson’s ratio (μ) of 0.3. The value of E was obtained using the equation E = α⋅qc with α = 4, based on the classification of hard soil. CPT results indicate that hard soil layers were encountered at depths of 9.20 to 11.00 meters, with G values ranging from 24,026 to 25,004 kPa. Based on these findings, deep foundations (driven piles or bored piles) are recommended to reach the hard soil layer effectively. |
