Evaluasi Kapasitas Ruas Jalan Menggunakan Metode Mkji 1997 Dan PKJI 2023 Pada Jalan Kl. Yos Sudarso Kota Medan

Abstract

Jalan Kl. Yos Sudarso Medan dapat dikatakan sebagai jalan arteri di Kota Medan yang memiliki volume kendaraan cukup tinggi. Di sepanjang ruas jalan ini terdapat beberapa tempat usaha dan rumah milik masyarakat sehingga menyebabkan penumpukan kendaraan pada ruas jalan ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis sejauh mana kapasitas jalan pada Jalan Kl. Yos Sudarso, Kecamatan Medan Barat, Kota Medan menampung volume kendaraan. Yos Sudarso. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode MKJI dan PKJI sehingga dengan menggunakan metode MKJI 1997 diperoleh nilai kapasitas pada setiap segmen sebagai berikut: Kapasitas jalan sebesar 1698,84 smp/jam Kecepatan arus bebas ruas jalan KL. Yos Sudarso sebesar 57,57 km/jam Derajat Kejenuhan pada ruas jalan KL. Yos Sudarso sebesar 6.867. Sementara itu, berdasarkan hasil analisis data kondisi lapangan menggunakan metode PKJI 2023, diperoleh nilai kapasitas untuk setiap segmen sebagai berikut: Kapasitas jalan sebesar 1750,32 smp/jam. Kecepatan arus bebas ruas jalan KL. Yos Sudarso sebesar 59,59 km/jam Derajat Kejenuhan jalan KL. Yos Sudarso sebesar 8,844 Berdasarkan hasil metode MKJI 1997 dan PKJI 2023, diperoleh nilai kapasitas, kecepatan arus bebas, dan derajat kejenuhan yang berbeda serta terdapat perbedaan notasi dan satuan faktor penyesuaian.
