Continuous and excessive use of chemical fertilizers has a negative impact on soil fertility, so the use of organic materials is necessary to increase soil fertility. The use of organic fertilizers is very necessary to maintain soil fertility. Cabbage waste can be used as organic fertilizer (compost) to help plant growth. Cabbage contains one of the essential nutrients, namely sulfur. Cabbage waste has important microbes that can be used to fertilize the soil. Cabbage and mustard green waste contain beneficial microbes such as Lactobacillus sp. and Saccharomyces sp. While the types of fungi found in this waste are Aspergillus sp. and Rhizopus sp. These microbes have the potential to inhibit the growth of pathogens.. |
