| Abstract: | Simpang tak bersinyal merupakan titik pertemuan jalan yang sering ditemukan di perkotaan dan pedesaan. Kinerja jalan adalah ukuran seberapa efektif dan efisien suatu ruas jalan dalam melayani arus lalu lintas yang terjadi pada ruas jalan tersebut. Tugu Durian Mulo merupakan ikon Langkat Hulu sebagai penghasil Buah Durian. Kondisi lalu lintas pada tugu ini cukup padat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja simpang tiga tak bersinyal Tugu Durian Mulo Kabupaten Langkat yang meliputi kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, tundaan dan peluang antrian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) tahun 2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara survei secara langsung kelapangan yang dilaksanakan selama 3 hari pada jam puncak (pagi, siang sore). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan jam puncak pada Jl. Binjai Kuala (Barat) yaitu pada hari Minggu 19 Januari 2025 pukul 17.00-18.00 WIB, volume lalu lintas tersebut tertinggi dari hari dan jalan lain nya. Yang didapat nilai Derajat Kejenuhan (DJ) sebesar 0,67, Tundaan (T) sebesar 11,54 detik/smp, Peluang Antrian (PA) berkisar 19% - 38%, dan Tingkat Pelayan pada Jalan Binjai-Kuala (Barat) termasuk kedalam golongan C atau arus tersebut stabil kecepatan dan gerak kendaraan dikendalikan. Solusi yang diusulkan untuk lebih meningkatkan kinerja jalan tersebut dengan mengurangi hambatan samping pada simpang tersebut seperti meningkatkan fasilitas jalan membuat titik transportasi umum berhenti/halte, memberikan rambu-rambu lalu lintas pada persimpangan tak bersinyal tersebut, serta melakukan penertiban parkir dibadan jalan pada ruas jalan persimpangan. Unsignalized intersections are common intersections in urban and rural areas. Road performance measures how effectively and efficiently a road section serves the traffic flow that occurs on that section. The Durian Mulo Monument is an icon of Langkat Hulu, a producer of durian fruit. Traffic conditions at this monument are quite congested. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the unsignalized Durian Mulo Monument intersection in Langkat Regency, including capacity, saturation level, delays, and queueing probability. This study used the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) method. Data collection was conducted through a direct field survey conducted over three days during peak hours (morning, afternoon, evening). The results showed that the peak hour on Jl. Binjai Kuala (West) was Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time). This traffic volume was the highest compared to other days and roads. The obtained Degree of Saturation (DJ) value was 0.67, Delay (T) was 11.54 seconds/smp, Queue Probability (PA) ranged from 19% to 38%, and the Service Level on the Binjai-Kuala (West) Road was classified as C, indicating stable traffic flow, with controlled vehicle speed and movement. Proposed solutions to further improve the road's performance include reducing side obstacles at the intersection, improving road facilities, creating public transportation stops, installing traffic signs at the unsignalized intersection, and regulating on-road parking at the intersection. |
