| Abstract: | Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat gambaran hardiness pada santri di pondok pesantren hidayatullah tanjung morawa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 137 santri MA. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non probability sampling yaitu total sampling. Alat ukur penelitian ini menggunakan skala hardiness yang disusun berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang dikemukakan oleh Maddi (2002). Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan dengan jelas bagaimana gambaran hardiness pada santri di pondok pesantren hidayatullah tanjung morawa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa gambaran hardiness pada santri di pondok pesantren hidayatullah tanjung morawa tergolong tinggi, dan dari ketiga aspek hardiness yang paling dominan digunakan oleh para santri yaitu pada aspek control dengan nilai persentase sebesar 47%. Dan aspek yang memiliki kategori sedang yaitu aspek commitment dengan nilai persentase sebesar 33% & aspek challenge dengan nilai persentase sebesar 24%. This study aims to describe the level of hardiness among students at Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School in Tanjung Morawa. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method. The sample consisted of 137 students at the Madrasah Aliyah (MA) level, selected using a non-probability sampling technique, specifically total sampling. The instrument used was a hardiness scale developed based on the three components proposed by Maddi (2002), namely commitment, control, and challenge. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The findings indicate that the overall level of hardiness among the students is categorized as high. Among the three aspects of hardiness, control emerged as the most dominant aspect, with a percentage of 47%, while challenge was the least dominant, with a percentage of 24%. |
