Hubungan antara Pola Asuh Permisif dengan Perilaku Konsumtif Remaja

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh permisif dengan perilaku konsumtif remaja. populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMA Kartika 1-2 Medan berjumlah 170 orang dan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMA Kartika 1-2 Medan kelas X, XI dan XII yang berjumlah 110 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan teknik total sampling. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis korelasi product moment, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara variabel pola asuh permisif dengan variabel perilaku konsumtif. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,796 dengan Signifikan p= 0,000 < 0,05. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat adalah r2= 0,633. Ini menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh permisif berdistribusi sebesar 63,3% terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Berdasarkan hasil uji mean dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku konsumtif tergolong tinggi dengan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 65 dan mean empiriknya sebesar 72,20. Selanjutnya pola asuh permisif dapat disimpulkan memperoleh hasil tinggi dengan nilai hipotetik sebesar 50 dan nilai empiriknya sebesar 60,29. This study aims to determine the correlation between permissive parenting patterns and adolescent consumer behavior. The population in this study were 170 students of SMA Kartika 1-2 Medan and the sample in this study were 110 students of SMA Kartika 1-2 Medan in grades X, XI, and XII. The sampling technique used was the total sampling technique. Based on the results of the product moment correlation analysis calculation, it can be seen that there is a significant positive correlation between the permissive parenting pattern variable and the consumer behavior variable. This result is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.796 with a significant p = 0.000 <0.05. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2 = 0.633. This shows that permissive parenting patterns are distributed at 63.3% towards consumer behavior. Based on the results of the mean test, it can be concluded that consumer behavior is classified as high with a hypothetical mean value of 65 and an empirical mean of 72.20. Furthermore, it can be concluded that the permissive parenting pattern produces high results with a hypothetical value of 50 and an empirical value of 60.29.
