Hubungan antara Self-Esteem dengan Resiliensi dalam Pengerjaan Skripsi pada Mahasiswa Psikologi UMA 2021

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara selfesteem dengan resiliensi dalam pengerjaan skripsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Psikologi Universitas Medan Area angkatan 2021 dengan jumlah populasi 315 dan sampel berjumlah 104 mahasiswa dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu mahasiswa yang sudah melaksanakan seminar proposal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi product moment terlihat bahwasannya ada hubungan positif antara self-esteem dengan resiliensi. Temuan ini diambil berdasarkan pada coefficient correlation rxy = 0,722 dengan taraf signifikansi p = 0,000 < 0,05. Selanjutnya, koefisien determinasi (r²) hubungan antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen adalah r² = 0,521. Hal ini memperlihatkan bahwasannya self-esteem memiliki kontribusi terhadap resiliensi sebesar 52,1%. Hasil uji mean dapat disimpulkan bahwa tergolong rendah dengan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 55 dan mean empirik sebesar 42,09. Selanjutnya, resiliensi disimpulkan memperoleh hasil rendah dengan nilai hipotetik sebesar 65 dan empirik sebesar sebesar 50,08. The aim of research to determine the correlation between self-esteem and resilience in thesis work. This research uses a quantitative type. The population taken in this research is psychology students Medan Area University generation 2021 that's already seminar proposal with the population was 315 and the sample was 104 students using purposive sampling techniques. Based on the results of the product moment correlation analysis, it appears that there is a positive correlation between self-esteem and resilience, based on the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,722 with a significance of p = 0,000 < 0,05. Furthermore, the coefficient determination (r²) of the correlation between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r² = 0,521. This shows that self-esteem contributes to resilience by 52,1%. The results of the mean test self-esteem is low with a hypothetical mean value of 55 and an empirical mean of 42,09. Furthermore, resilience low results with a hypothetical value of 65 and an empirical value of 50,08.
