This study aims to examine the influence of self-disclosure on self-confidence among students who use second Instagram accounts at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Medan Area. The research employed a quantitative method with a sample of 180 students. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling. Data collection methods involved validated and reliable self-disclosure and self- confidence scales. Data analysis utilized simple linear regression, resulting in a significant regression value of P = 0.027 (< 0.05), indicating a significant influence of self-disclosure on self-confidence with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.027 or a contribution of 2.7%. The findings reveal that self-disclosure has a positive and significant impact on self-confidence. This means that the higher the self-disclosure level of students, the higher their self-confidence. Data categorization showed that the majority of respondents were in the moderate to high categories for both self-disclosure and self-confidence, with empirical means exceeding the hypothetical means, indicating a positive impact.
