| Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmenganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik dengan kinerja pegawai sebagai variabel mediasi Kecamatan Sei Dadap Kabupaten Asahan. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik sebagai salah satu bentuk akuntabilitas pemerintah daerah kepada masyarakat. Disiplin kerja yang baik diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dan berujung pada pelayanan yang lebih berkualitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui kuesioner kepada 100 responden yang merupakan pengguna layanan di Kantor Camat Kecamatan Sei Dadap. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana, regresi berganda, uji t parsial, uji koefisien determinasi (R Square dan Adjusted R Square), serta uji Sobel untuk menguji efek mediasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0.545 dan signifikansi 0.000. Disiplin kerja juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan koefisien regresi 0.678 dan signifikansi 0.000. Selain itu, kinerja pegawai berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik dengan koefisien regresi 0.594 dan signifikansi 0.000. Uji Sobel menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pegawai memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik dengan nilai Z hitung sebesar 4.495 (p < 0.05). This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline on the quality of public services with employee performance as a mediating Sei Dadap District Head Office, Asahan Regency. The background of this study is based on the importance of improving the quality of public services as a form of local government accountability to the community. Good work discipline is expected to improve employee performance and lead to better quality services. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through a questionnaire to 100 respondents who are service users at the Sei Dadap District Head Office. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression, multiple regression, partial t-test, determination coefficient test (R Square and Adjusted R Square), and Sobel test to test the mediation effect. The results of the study indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the quality of public services with a regression coefficient value of 0.545 and a significance of 0.000. Work discipline also has a significant effect on employee performance with a regression coefficient of 0.678 and a significance of 0.000. In addition, employee performance has a significant effect on the quality of public services with a regression coefficient of 0.594 and a significance of 0.000. The Sobel test shows that employee performance significantly mediates the effect of work discipline on public service quality, with a calculated Z-value of 4.495 (p < 0.05). |
