| Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh electronic word of mouth dan brand trust terhadap minat beli produk aqua pada generasi z pasca boikot studi kasus mahasiswa manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara. Adapun sample dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling yang terdiri dari 91 responden yang mengetahui produk aqua, mengetahui isu boikot aqua, dan merupakan generasi z. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis kuantitatif dan teknik analisis statistik . Metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan daftar pertanyaan. Pada hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh electronic word of mouth (eWOM) dan brand trust secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli dengan nilai F-hitung > F-tabel yaitu 114,145>3,100 dan tingkat signifikansinya (0,000) < 0,05. Uji t yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa electronic word of mouth berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat beli karena nilai signifikan (0,002) < dari 0,05 dan t-hitung (3,174) > dibandingkan t-tabel (1.662) dan brand trust berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat beli karena terlihat dari nilai signifikan (0,000) < 0,05 dan t-hitung (7, 257) > dibandingkan t-tabel (1.662). Nilai Adjusted R Square yang didapat dari hasil pengujian Koefisien Determinan (R2) terhadap minat beli sebesar 0,715 berarti 71,5% dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel electronic word of mouth dan brand trust sedangan sisanya 28,5% dapat dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini. This study aims to determine the influence of electronic word of mouth (eWOM) and brand trust towards purchase intention of Aqua products on generation z after the boycott issue a case study of management students at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Sumatera Utara. The sample in this study used purposive sampling consisting of 91 respondents who knew Aqua products, knew the issue of the Aqua boycott, and were generation z. The data analysis technique used was quantitative analysis technique and statistical analysis technique. Data collection methods through interviews and questionnaires. The results of this study show that the influence of electronic word of mouth (eWOM) and brand trust simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention with an F-count value> F-table, namely 114.145> 3.100 and a significance level (0.000) <0.05. The t-test shows that electronic word of mouth has a significant effect on purchase intention because the significant value (0.002) <0.05 and t-count (3.174)> compared to t-table (1.662) and brand trust has a significant effect on purchase intention because it can be seen from the significant value (0.000) <0.05 and t-count (7, 257)> compared to t-table (1.662). The Adjusted R Square value obtained from the results of the Determinant Coefficient (R2) test on purchase intention of 0.715 means that 71.5% can be explained by the electronic word of mouth and brand trust variables while the remaining 28.5% can be explained by the other factors which is not examined in this study. |
