| Abstract: | Skripsi ini membahas perbandingan antara mesin pelet konvensional dan mesin extruder pelet apung dalam pembuatan pakan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan mesin yang paling efisien dan efektif dalam menghasilkan pelet yang berkualitas. Proses pengujian dilakukan dengan mengukur pelet apung dalam air sebanyak 400 mL, di mana 10 butir pakan dimasukkan ke dalam air untuk observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mesin extruder memiliki keunggulan dalam menghasilkan pelet yang lebih ringan dan dapat mengapung, sedangkan mesin pelet konvensional menghasilkan pelet dengan ukuran dan bentuk yang bervariasi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan panduan bagi pelaku industri dalam memilih teknologi produksi pakan yang sesuai dan memberikan wawasan tentang pengaruh masing-masing mesin terhadap kualitas pakan yang dihasilkan This thesis discusses the comparison between conventional pellet machines and floating pellet extruder machines in the production of fish feed. The research aims to determine the most efficient and effective machine for producing quality pellets. The testing process involved measuring floating pellets in 400 mL of water, where 10 pieces of feed were placed in the water for observation. The results indicate that the extruder machine has advantages in producing lighter and buoyant pellets, while the conventional pellet machine produces pellets of various sizes and shapes. This research is expected to provide guidance for industry players in selecting appropriate feed production technology and to offer insights into the impact of each machine on the quality of the produced feed. |
