Pengaruh Pola Asuh Otoriter Terhadap Perilaku Bullying pada siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Barumun

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pola Asuh Otoriter terhadap Perilaku Bullying pada siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Barumun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 199 siswa yang dipilih sebagai responden. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa skala Pola Asuh Otoriter dan skala Perilaku Bullying yang disusun menggunakan skala Guttman. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penelitian layak digunakan, dengan nilai reliabilitas Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,831 untuk skala Pola Asuh Otoriter dan 0,884 untuk skala Bullying. Hasil uji asumsi menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal, hubungan antar variabel bersifat linier, dan tidak terdapat gejala heteroskedastisitas, sehingga data memenuhi syarat untuk analisis lanjutan. Hasil analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa Pola Asuh Otoriter berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Perilaku Bullying pada siswa. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima dalam arti Pola Asuh Otoriter memiliki pengaruh terhadap Perilaku Bullying dengan besaran pengaruh dalam bentuk linier: y=a+bx, dimana setiap kenaikan X maka akan berpengaruh terhadap kenaikan Y dengan kontribusi sebesar 42,7%. Sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti lingkungan sekolah, teman sebaya, dan media massa. This research aims to determine the effect of Authoritarian Parenting on Bullying Behavior in students at SMA Negeri 1 Barumun. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research subjects were 199 students selected as respondents. The data collection instruments were the Authoritarian Parenting Scale and the Bullying Behavior Scale compiled using the Guttman scale. Validity and reliability tests showed that the research instrument was suitable for use, with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability value of 0.831 for the Authoritarian Parenting Scale and 0.884 for the Bullying Scale. The results of the assumption test showed that the data were normally distributed, the relationship between variables was linear, and there were no symptoms of heteroscedasticity, so the data met the requirements for further analysis. The results of a simple regression analysis showed that Authoritarian Parenting had a significant effect on Bullying Behavior in students. The hypothesis in this study was accepted in the sense that Authoritarian Parenting had an influence on Bullying Behavior with a magnitude of influence in linear form: y = a + bx, where each increase in X would affect the increase in Y with a contribution of 42.7%. While the rest is influenced by other factors such as the school environment, peers, and mass media.
