This study examines the contribution of work engagement factors to teacher performance at the Ahmad Yani Educational Foundation, Binjai. Using a descriptive quantitative method with total sampling, the research involved 56 teachers. Data were collected through the Work Engagement Factors Scale in Likert format and analyzed using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), with feasibility tested through the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure and Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity. The results showed that the data were suitable for factorial analysis, with a KMO value of 0.796 (>0.50), a significant Bartlett’s Test result (p < 0.001), and communalities above 0.50, indicating that the factors adequately represented the measured construct. The analysis revealed varying contributions of work engagement factors to teacher performance, with personal resources contributing the highest (92%), followed by organizational culture (87.7%), job resources (85.2%), leadership (84.4%), and work-life balance (79.3%). Compensation contributed the least (78.8%). These findings highlight the importance of strengthening personal and organizational resources to enhance teacher performance.
