Efikasi Insektisida Nabati Ekstrak Daun Pepaya (Carica papaya) Terhadap Hama Ulat Grayak (Spodoptera litura) pada Tanaman Sawi di Laboratorium

Abstract

"Efficacy studies botanical insecticides Leaf Papaya extract (Carica papaya) against pests grayakworm (Spodoptera litura F.) in the mustard plant in laboratories. "Script under the guidance of the Mrs. Ir. Maimunah, M.Si, of the chief mentor and Mrs. Dr. Ir. Suswati, MP, as a member of supervisor. Tests have been carried out in the Laboratory of Polytechnic Laboratory of Industrial Chemical Technology from May - June 2017. The purpose of this study to determine the effectiveness of the Leaf extract papaya (C. papaya) as a vegetable insecticides for pest control caterpillar armyworm (S. litura) on mustard plants in the laboratory. This study was conducted using a completely randomized design Non-factorial consisting of 5 treatments, leaf extract of C. papaya level with P0 = without extract (control), P1 = concentration of 4% or 4/100 ml of solvent, P2 = concentration of 6% or 6/100 ml of solvent P3 = concentration of 8% or 8/100 ml of solvent P4 = concentration of 10% or 10/100 ml of solvent. The results showed that papaya leaf extract (C. papaya) can control grayak caterpillar (S. litura). Provision of papaya leaf extract (C. papaya) with a concentration of 4% (P1 ) effectively controlling the litura. The percentage of mortality of S. litura larvae was effective at P4 and death was present in treatment P1.
