Analisis Perbandingan Isi Tajuk Rencana Surat Kabar (Studi Deskriptif tentang Isi Tajuk Rencana Surat Kabar Harian Analisa dan Waspada Edisi 1-31 Agustus 2016)

Abstract

Analysis and Alert is a regional newspaper based in Medan City. Both have a publishing and publishing area in the same location. Nevertheless the contents of the two newspapers are not always the same because they have different editorial policies and characters. Editorial policy is the elaboration of the vision of the newspaper. The objectives of the study are to know and analyze the comparison of the Content of the Planner consists of theme, type of header, canopy direction, sentence type and direction as well as moral values in Daily Newspaper Analysis and Alert Edition 1-31 August 2016. This type of research is a type of research with the method of content analysis of quantitative approach. The population is the content of the editorial published in the daily newspaper Analysis and Waspada Medan Issue 1-31 August 2016 amounted to 26 editorials and all became the sample of the study (total sampling). Technique used to analyze with statistical test of chi square. The results show that the editorial based on the aspect there is a significant difference in the theme selection between newspaper Analysis with Alert (X2count 21.20> X2tabel 18,31). there was no significant difference in the type of editorial between newspaper Analysis with Alert (X2count 4.40 <X2table 5,991). there is a significant difference in editorial directions (X2count 10.40> X2tabel 5.991), there is no significant difference in editorial directions (X2count 3.50 <X2table 5,991), there is a significant difference in editorial bowing (X2count 119.60> X2table 5,991), there is a significant difference in the moral value of the editorial (X2count 38.68> X2table 18.31).
