Evaluasi Iklim Keselamatan Kerja dengan Menggunakan Metode NOSACQ-50 di PT. Permata Hijau Palm Oleo (PHPO) KIM II Mabar

Abstract

This study aims to find out the work safety climate. It is a shared perception between company management and workers in handling the problems related of work safety in a company. Then, the Nordic Occupational Safety Climate Questionnaire (NOSACQ-50) method was conducted to measure off the work safety climate. It used questionnaire as the instrument in this study which contain 50 questions where them are categorized into 7 dimensions. Furthermore, the data testing was performed by categorizing it into 5 groups, namely position; gender; age; length of work; and education level. The research was conducted on a total 30 employees chosen as the respondents at PT. Permata Hijau Palm Oleo (PHP) KIM II Mabar on fatty acid plant division. Then, the research result showed that there were no different perceptions on all dimensions in groups of position, gender, age, length of work, and education level. But, there were different perceptions of work safety climate in age group on commitment dimension and ability in work safety of management. Thus, from the results, it will be evaluated the condition of work safety in a company and continued with the revision of work safety climate proposal in the company.
