Perbedaan Komunikasi Interpersonal Ditinjau dari Pola Asuh Orang Tua pada Siswa SMA Negeri 2 Medan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the differences in interpersonal communication in terms of parenting. This research was conducted on 150 SMA 2 Medan students. From data analysis using the 1 Path Variance Analysis formula, the following results are obtained: 1). There are differences in interpersonal communication that are very significant between students who are cared for with authoritarian parenting and democratic and permissive parenting. This result is known by looking at the value or coefficient of difference Anava F = 11,936 with a significance coefficient of 0,000. This means that the significance value obtained is less than 0.010. Thus the proposed hypothesis which says there are differences in interpersonal communication between students who are cared for with authoritarian parenting with democratic and permissive parenting, is accepted. 2). it is known that students who are cared for with democratic parenting have the ability to do better interpersonal communication with an average value of 156.20 compared to students who are cared for with authoritarian parenting with an average value of 133.60 and students who are cared for with parenting permissive with an average value of 148.26. Other results are known that interpersonal communication of SMA 2 Medan students is in the moderate category, because the empirical mean (146.02) the difference with the hypothetical mean (150) does not exceed the SD number ie 25.129.
