Analisis Economic Value Added Return on Asset dan Return on Equity dalam Menilai Kinerja Keuangan PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan

Abstract

In this study aims to determine whether Return On Equity (ROE), Return On Assets (ROA) and Economic Value Added (EVA) improve the Financial Performance of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan. The research method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative, while the calculation method used is using the Return On Equity (ROE), Return On Assets (ROA) and Economic Value Added (EVA) analysis tools. The average results are as follows: Analysis of Return On Equity of 0.034 %, Return On Asset of 0.019 % and Economic Value Added of Rp 1,569.65,108,644. ROA and ROE are not effective at improving financial performance, EVA effectively improves financial performance. Thus the financial performance of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan is in good condition because overall the company is able to generate profits from its own capital and succeed in obtaining economic added value for the owner of the company, even though there are fluctuations in annual returns. This was caused by security problems (theft) in 2015.
