Hubungan antara Kepercayaan Diri dengan Kemandirian Belajar Siswa SMK PAB 1 Helvetia

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self confidence and learning independence of SMK PAB 1 Helvetia students. The hypothesis proposed is a positive relationship between self-confidence and the learning independence of SMK PAB 1 Helvetia students. The subjects of this study were 100 students of class X SMK PAB 1 Helvetia by using probability sampling data collection techniques, data collection was carried out using a scale of confidence with learning independence. The learning independence scale meets the validity and reliability requirements and can be used for research with a reliability coefficient of 0.812 and a confidence scale that meets the validity and reliability requirements and can be used for research with a reliability coefficient of 0.882. Analysis of the data used is the product moment technique. Based on data analysis, the results of the study showed a significant positive relationship between self-confidence and learning independence of class X students of SMK PAB 1 Helvetia. This is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.491 with p = 0.001, while the coefficient of determination (r2) of 0.241.
