dc.descriptionPT. Sinar Sanata Electronic Industry merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam produksi bola lampu. Lintasan produksi yang ada di PT. Sinar Sanata Electronic Indonesia dinilai belum cukup seimbang dikarenakan adanya kemacetan dan penumpukan pada stasiun kerja yang di akibatkan oleh adanya waktu menganggur pada stasiun kerja yang cukup besar yang disebabkan oleh adanya kesenjangan waktu siklus dengan waktu produksi masing masing stasiun kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat keseimbangan lintasan dan memberi perusahaan alternatif pilihan lintasan produksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Moodie Young, dimana tingkat keseimbangan lintasan produksi terdiri dari 3 bagian yaitu Line Efficiency, Balance Delay, dan Smoothes Index. Pada lintasan produksi aktual, nilai Line Efficiency 43,69%, Balance Delay 56,30%, dan Smoothes Index 703,64. Sedangkan pada lintasan produksi hasil penelitian nilai Line Efficiency 76,46%, Balance Delay 23,53%, dan Smoothes Index 279,39. Lintasan produksi baru hasil penelitian memiliki tingkat keseimbangan yang lebih baik karena memiliki nilai Line Efficiency yang besar serta nilai Balance Delay, dan Smoothes Index yang kecil.en_US
dc.description.abstractPT. Sinar Sanata Electronic Industry is a company engaged in lightbulb production. The existing production line at PT. Sinar Sanata Electronic Industry is not balanced enough because there are the bottleneck and buildup production in the work station. It is caused by enough long idle time in the work station as a result of the gap in cycle time and production time in each work station. This study aims to identify the line balancing level and to propose an alternative of production line choice to the company. Then, the Moodie Young method was used in this study where the production line balancing level consists of 3 parts, namely: Line Efficiency, Balance Delay, and Smoothes Index. Furthermore, in the actual production line, it was obtained Line Efficiency value of 43.69%, Balance Delay of 56.30%, and Smoothes Index of 703.64. Whereas in the research result production line, the Line Efficiency value was 76.46%, Balance Delay of 23.53% and Smoothes Index of 279.39. Thus, the new production line of the research result has a better balancing level because it has a higher Line Efficiency value also a lower Balance Delay value and Smoothes Index.en_US
