Fasilitas Kerja Berdasarkan Analisa Postur Kerja Dengan Metode OWAS pada Bagian Pallet Produk 600 ml di PT. Tirta Sibayakindo

Abstract

PT. Tirta Sibayakindo is a national private company status which produce bottled drinking water that has been in sterilization and the resulting products are branded AQUA and VIT. This plant is the fifth plant which is subsidiary Aqua Golden Mississippi Group as the first bottled drinking water in Indonesia. Research in this paper intends to determine the effect of working posture and its impact on workers, getting the design of the facility that is capable of improving working posture work. Target to be achieved from this research is to identify workplaces that cause fatigue due to working postur. The method used is the OWAS method. The data collected for this study is the work order process from an early stage and final stage along with his posture, existing workplace conditions and employee anthropometric data. From the data processing and OWAS worksheet known that the early stages of working posture with activities taking boxes of finished products from conveyor roller, score OWAS 3 (needed in the future). And the final stage, the activity is putting up and at the same time arrange the finished product on a wooden pallet, score OWAS 5 (action in the near future). For the workplace based on the current work posture should be corrected to obtain a good working posture based on ergonomic work.
