Evaluasi Pelaporan Kinerja Kepala Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri di Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

Langkat District Education Office is a Government Institution that oversees about the performance of the Head of School in Kabupaten Langkat in all matters relating to Education, but of course Performance reporting does not always work well, this is certainly due to the performance of the Principal in helping teachers develop the ability to manage the process learning does not work optimally with the indicators of assessment are divided into six namely: personality and social, leadership, school development, resource management, entrepreneurship and supervision, with a qualitative approach. However, the results of the study resulted in six of these indicators, found in schools that have Type A B and C that is SMPN 1 as type A, SMPN 5 as Type B and SMPN 3 as Type C. The reason behind the non-performance of a school principal is due to the low competence and professionalism of teachers as well as the distance and location of schools that ultimately did not get guidance from the school supervisor coordinator, and lack of innovation and communicative from the principal to teachers, and teachers to students.
