Abstract: This research aims to determine the relationship between the style of a transformational leader-ship and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of PTPN IV Unit Kebun Bukit Lima employee. The population of this research is PTPN IV Unit Kebun Bukit Lima employee as many as 241 employee. The sample of this research is 61 employee, this sample is taken by using random sampling technique. This research data retrieval method is using by a transformational leader-ship scale and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) is based on the aspect of a transformational leader-ship and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in Likert scale. This research is using by product moment correlations technique with the result there is a significant relationship between a transformational leader-ship and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The result is show with correlations coefficient rxy= 0,389 ; p = 0,002, it’s mean that p < 0,01. And the next is the result that a transformational leader-ship gives to organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) is 15,1%. It’s mean there is 84,9% influenced by other factor that not examined in this research. And the next, mean that acquired from the result is a transformational leader-ship style to organizational citizenship behavior is high.
Description: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) pada karyawan PTPN IV Unit Kebun Bukit Lima. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan PTPV IV Unit Kebun Bukit Lima sebanyak 241 karyawan. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 60 karyawan, sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. pengambilan data menggunakan skala gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan skala organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) yang disusun berdasarakan aspek-aspek dari variabel gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan organizational citizenship behavior kedalam bentuk skala Likert. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Korelasi Product Moment Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi = 0, 389 ; p = 0,002, berarti p < 0.05. selanjutnya sumbangan nilai yang diberikan oleh variabel gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) menghasilkan nilai sebesar 15,1 %. Berarti terdapat 84,9% pengaruh dari faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Selanjutnya nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari hasil analisis gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap organizational tergolong tinggi.
