Abstract: This research aims to see the relationship between the organizational commitment and work discipline in employee dinas penanaman modal, perdagangan, koperasi dan usaha kecil menengah (dispemdagkop & ukm) bireuen. Hypothesis submitted there is a positive relationship between the organizational commitment and work discipline in employee dinas penanaman modal, perdagangan, koperasi dan usaha kecil menengah (dispemdagkop & ukm) bireuen. The population in this study amounted to 60 people with civil state apparatus. The sample data retrieval technique is using total sampling. The data collection method is the scale of organizational commitment and work discipline scale. Data analysis using product moment analysis. The results of the study are there is a significant link between the organizational commitment to work discipline. It is demonstrated from the coefficient of rxy = 0.936, p = 0.000 < 0.050 which has the higher level of organizational commitment, the higher the work discipline. Based on the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis was acceptedbased on the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis was accepted. Based on the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis was accepted. There is a donation of the organizational commitment to work discipline of 87.6%. From these results it is known that there are still 12.4% of other factors that are not researched in this study. Known other factors of the work discipline are work motivation and job satisfaction. The results of the study also showed a empirical average of 70.00 and a hypothetic average of 72.5, this condition illustrates the organizational commitment to the subject. While the average work discipline is 74.43 and hypothetic average of 72.5 which means working discipline on the subject of research is also medium.
Description: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara Komitmen Organisasi dengan Disiplin Kerja pada Pegawai Dinas Penanaman Modal, Perdagangan, Koperasi, dan Usaha Kecil Menengah (Dispemdagkop & UKM) di Kabupaten Bireuen. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelirian korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 orang Aparatur Sipil Negara. Teknik pengambilan data sampel ialah menggunakan Total Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data adalah skala Komitmen Organisasi dan Skala Disiplin Kerja. Hipotesis yang diajukan ada hubungan positif antara Komitmen Organisasi dengan Disiplin Kerja pada Pegawai Dispemdagkop & Ukm Kabupaten Bireuen. Analisa data menggunakan analisis Product Moment. Hasil penelitian adalah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Komitmen Organisasi dengan Disiplin Kerja. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari koefisien rxy= 0,936, p = 0,000 < 0,050 yang berati bahwa semakin tinggi Komitmen Organisasi maka semakin tinggi Disiplin Kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dinyatakan diterima. Terdapat sumbangan Komitmen Organisasi terhadap Disiplin Kerja sebesar 87,6%. Dari hasil ini diketahui bahwa masih terdapat 12,4% ada faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Diketahui faktor lain dari Disiplin Kerja tersebut yaitu faktor Motivasi Kerja dan faktor Kepuasan Kerja. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan rerata empirik sebesar 70,00 dan rerata hipotetik sebesar 72,5, kondisi ini menggambarkan Komitmen Organisasi pada subjek tergolong sedang. Sedangkan rerata empirik disiplin kerja sebesar 74,43 dan rerata hipotetik sebesar 72,5 yang berarti disiplin kerja pada subjek penelitian juga tergolong sedang.
