Analisis Pengendalian Persediaan Tandan Buah Segar Dengan Menggunakan Metode Economic Order Quantity (EQQ) di PT. Perkebunan Nusantara II PKS Kwala Sawit

Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara II PKS Kwala Sawit is a company engaged in the palm oil mill. The production process is running effectively and efficiently; supervision and control of supplies are very important issues because the amount of supplies will determine or affect the smooth production of the company. Furthermore, the amount or level of supply required by the company varies for each company or palm oil mill, depending on the volume of production and process. The total cost of supplies for the FFB raw material supplies (total cost) in 2019 at PT Nusantara II PKS Kwala Sawit plantations using the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method of IDR.102,356,000 is smaller than the total cost incurred by the company of IDR. 22,827,200. Then, the application of the EOQ method to the company results in cheaper costs when compared to the methods that have been applied by it. The savings that are gained if the EOQ method is applied to it in 2019 is IDR. 20,471,200. Thus, the measurement results using the Economic Order Quantity method show that the control of fresh fruit bunches supplies was influenced by the waiting time interval between orders for raw materials, which is 1 day. This is because the distance is far enough to result a decrease in the quality of raw materials due to being stored for too long, which affects the company.
