Hubungan antara Dukungan Keluarga dengan Regulasi Emosi pada Remaja Penyalahguna Narkoba di Lingkungan XII Kelurahan Teladan Barat

Abstract

Emotion regulation is the ability to stay calm under pressure include all consciousness and unconscious strategies used to increase, maintain, control and lower the emotions so that the effect on feelings, behavioral, and physiological response. Family support is a help or support individual received from certain people in his life and be in a nearby neighborhood/intimate which makes individuals feel loved, appreciated and cared for properly. This research aims to look at the relationship between family support with the regulation of emotions on adolescent drug abusers. The subject of this research is the teenage drug abusers in Lingkungan XII Kelurahan Teladan Barat as much 45 people. Sampling techniques using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done using two scales, that is the scale of family support and regulation of emotions. Data analysis using correlation techniques (rxy). Correlation analysis results obtained (rxy) = 0.734; p = 0.000 < 0.050 means that there is a positive and significant relationship between family support with the regulation of emotions on teenage drug abusers. Support families in this study belongs to high because the empirical (mean = 93.22 > hipotetik mean = 75 where the difference exceeds the number of SD = 13.075). And regulation of emotions is also classified as high (mean = 102.58 > empirical mean hipotetik = 85 where the difference exceeds the number of SD = 12.666). As for the determination of the correlation coefficient of r2 = 0.539 means that family support is contributing to effective against regulation of emotions of 53.9%.
