Hubungan Antara Persepsi Terhadap Strategi Pembelajaran Discovery dan Kreativitas Dengan Karakter Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Seni Budaya Kelas X di SMA Negeri 9 Medan

Abstract

This study aimed to determine (1) the relationship of perception of discovery learning strategies with the students character on arts lesson, (2) the relationship of creativity with the students character on arts lesson. (3) relationship of perceptions of discovery learning strategy and creativity with the students character on arts lesson. The research method is quantitative descriptive correlational study with correlative study pattern by putting the variables in the study two groups of independent variables and the dependent variable. The population in this study were students of class X senior high school State 9 Medan. To determine the sample was developed from the tables Isaac and Michael and obtained a sample of 149 people. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with Likert scale. Analysis using correlation techniques and simple and multiple regression. The results of this study are presented (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between perceptions of discovery learning strategies with students with character on arts lesson rx1y correlation coefficient = 0.307. Effective contribution given by the variable perceptions of the learning strategy discovery amounted to 15.32%, (2) there is a positive and significant relationship between students' creativity with student character on arts lesson with correlation coefficient = 0.433 rx2y. Effective contribution given by the variable creativity is at 34.42%, and (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between perceptions of discovery learning strategy and creativity together with the character of the student on arts lesson with R = 0.497. Effective contribution given by the variable perception of discovery learning strategies and creativity to the character of students by 49.74%.
