dc.description.abstractPromosi pemasaran banyak berkaitan dengan komunikasi. Kebijaksanaan promosi khususnya taunching, merupakan sa!ah satu bentuk khusus komunikasi untuk memenuhi fungsi pemasaran, maka harus dilakukan dalam suatu kegiatan launching tentu saja lebih sekedar memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat. Launching harus mampu membujuk khalayak ramai agar berpriiaku sedemikian rupa, sesuai dengan strategi pemasaran perusahaan untuk mencetak penjualan dan keuntungan. Launching produk ada!ah salah satu bidang promosi yang penggunaannya dapat dilakukan secara serempak, beru!ang-uiang dan berkelanjutan sasuai dengan keinginan pemesan. Launching yang dilakukan oleh PT. Telkom diharapkan mampu meningkatkan penjuafan kartu beken di Medan. Marketing promotion has a lot to do with communication. Promotional policies, especially taunching, are one form specific communications to fulfill a marketing function, it must be carried out in a launching activity, of course, more than just provide information to the public. Launching must be able persuade the general public to behave in such a way as to suit company marketing strategy to score sales and profits. Product launching is one of the areas of promotion their use can be carried out simultaneously, repeatedly and sustainable according to the wishes of the customer. Launching carried out by PT. Telkom is expected to be able to increase the sales of well-known cards in Field.en_US
