Abstract

Tugas elemen mesin adalah salah satu kurikulum jurusan teknik mesin UMA. Tugas ini adalah untuk merancang sebuah kopling. Pada pergerakan mesin diperlukan suatu komponen yang bisa memutuskan dan menghubungkan daya dan putara. Komponen ini adlaah kopling dimana putara yang dihasilkan oleh poros input akan dihubungkan ke poros output. Dalam hal ini di usahakan supaya tidak terjadi slip yang dapat merugikan atau mengurangi efisiensi suatu mesin. Sebelum ditemukannya kopling untuk menghentikan putaran mesin, kita harus terlebih dahulu mematikannya. hal ini adalah sangat tidak efektif, efisiensi suatu mesin menjadi bertambah setelah ditemukan kopling yang digunakan untuk memindahkan dan memutuskan daya dan putaran suatu mesin atau pun motor. Maka boleh disimpulkan bahwa kopling adalah salah satu komponen mesin yang memiliki peran pentin gdalam pengoperasiannya. Before the invention of the clutch to stop the engine rotation, we must first turn it off. this is very ineffective, the efficiency of an engine increases after finding the clutch used to transfer and disconnect the power and rotation of an engine or motor. So it can be concluded that the clutch is one of the engine components that has an important role in its operation.
