dc.description.abstract | Beton Ringan adalah beton yang memiliki berat dibawah beton normal. Dalam proses pembuatan beton ringan tentunya dibutuhkan material campuran yang memiliki berat jenis rendah. Salah satu bahan alternatif yang dapat digunakan yaitu kertas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memanfaatkan limbah kertas sebagai bahan tambahan campuran dalam pembuatan beton ringan dinding. Pada penelitian ini agregat halus yang digunakan sebagai penyusun beton dibentuk menyerupai kerikil berukuran butiran 10-20 mm. Variasi agregat halus yang diganti dengan persentase kertas sebesar 0%, 60%, dan 70% dari keseluruhan agregat halus. Benda uji beton dibuat dengan bentuk silinder dengan ukuran tinggi 30cm dan diameter 15cm. Setiap variasi dibuat sebanyak 5 buah benda uji dan pengujian kuat tekan beton dilaksanakan pada saat benda uji berumur 28 hari. Hasil pengujian kuat tekan yang saya uji dengan variasi campuran kertas 0% sebesar 21,53933 Mpa dan variasi campuran kertas 60% sebesar 19,32088 Mpa lebih besar dari 17,24 Mpa dan lebih kecil dari 41,36 Mpa sehingga termasuk beton struktural, sedangkan dengan variasi campuran kertas 70% diperoleh hasil kuat tekan 15,78946 Mpa lebih kecil dari 17,24 Mpa sehingga campuran ini tidak termasuk beton struktural. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin kecil persentase campuran kertas maka kuat tekan semakin besar dengan ketentuan bahan jenis agregat ringan batu pecah maka dikategorikan kedalam konstruksi beton ringan struktural. Sedangkan semakin besar persentase campuran kertas maka kuat tekan semakin kecil dengan ketentuan bahan jenis agregat ringan batu pecah maka tidak dikategorikan kedalam konstruksi beton ringan struktural dan tidak dapat digunakan untuk dinding partisi. Lightweight Concrete is concrete that has a weight below normal concrete. In the process of making lightweight concrete, a mixture of low density materials is needed. One of the alternative materials that can be used is paper. The purpose of this study was to utilize paper waste as an additive to the mixture in making lightweight concrete walls. In this study, the fine aggregate used as a constituent of concrete is formed to resemble 10-20 mm grain size of gravel. Variations of fine aggregate are replaced with paper percentages of 0%, 60%, and 70% of the total fine aggregate. Concrete specimens are made in a cylindrical shape with a height of 30cm and a diameter of 15cm. Each variation was made as many as 5 specimens and the concrete compressive strength test was carried out when the test objects were 28 days old. The results of the compressive strength test that I tested with a variation of 0% paper mix of 21.53933 Mpa and a variation of 60% paper mix of 19.32088 Mpa, greater than 17.24 MPa and less than 41.36 MPa so that it includes structural concrete, while with a variation of 70% paper mixture, the compressive strength is 15.78946 Mpa smaller than 17.24 MPa so that this mixture does not include structural concrete. Thus it is concluded that the smaller the percentage of the paper mixture, the greater the compressive strength provided that the light aggregate type material is crushed stone, it is categorized into structural lightweight concrete construction. Whereas the greater the percentage of the paper mixture, the smaller the compressive strength provided that the light aggregate type material is crushed stone, it is not categorized into structural lightweight concrete construction and cannot be used for partition walls. | en_US |
