dc.description.abstract | Energi listrik merupakan kebutuhan vital yang menentukan majunya perekonomian dan teknologi di suatu negara. Salah satu pembangkit yang menghasilkan listrik adalah PLTU.Boiler merupakan salah satu komponen utama dalam sebuah PLTU yang berperan menghasiulkan uap.Untuk mendapatkan pembakaran yang sempurna di dalam boiler maka boiler dibantu oleh satu komponen pendukung yaitu Air Pre Heater (APH). Penelitian ini akan dilakukan di salah satu PLTU PT. Socimas. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah, Bagaimana hasil analisis bahan bakar pada boiler, Berapa efisiensi pada boiler tanpa adanya alat Air priheater, Berapa efisiensi pada boiler dengan menggunakan alat Air priheater. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode langsung yaitu mengambil data pipa dan suhu pada Air priheater secara langsung. Untuk mengetahui efisiensi termal metode yang dipakai memerlukan output (udara keluaran) dan input (udara masuk). Dari data tadi diambil konsumsi bahan bakar normal untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap penambahan jumlah bahan bakar yang diperlukan. Setelah melakukan analisis data maka hasil penelitian sebagai berikut ;Hasil analisis bahan bakar Batubara Nilai kalor tertinggi (HHV) = 23,240.15 kJ/kg, Nilai kalor terendah (LHV) = 21,885.66 kJ/kg, Kapasitas bahan bakar ( ) = 2324,4183 kg/jam. Efisiensi boiler sebelum menggunakan Air priheater 70,92%, dan setelah menggunakan Air priheater efisiensi meningkat menjadi 76,36%, jadi kenaikan efisiensi sebesar 5,44%. Electrical energy is a vital need that determines the progress of the economy and technology in a country. One of the generators that produce electricity is the PLTU. The boiler is one of the main components in a PLTU which plays a role in generating steam. To get perfect combustion in the boiler, the boiler is assisted by one supporting component, namely Air Pre Heater (APH). This research will be conducted at one of the PT. Socimas PLTU. The objectives of this study are, What are the results of the analysis of fuel on the boiler? What is the efficiency of the boiler without the Air priheater device? What is the efficiency of the boiler using the Air priheater device. In this study, using the direct method, namely taking pipe data and temperature on the water heater directly. To determine the thermal efficiency, the method used requires output (air output) and input (intake air). From this data, normal fuel consumption is taken to determine its effect on the increase in the amount of fuel needed. After analyzing the data, the results of the research are as follows; Results of coal fuel analysis The highest heating value (HHV= 23,240.15 kJ / kg, the lowest heating value (LHV)= 21,885.66 kJ / kg, Fuel capacity (m ̇f)= 2324,4183 kg / hour. The efficiency of the boiler before using the water heater was 70,92%, and after using the water heater the efficiency increased to 76,36%, so the efficiency increase was 5,44%. | en_US |
