Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Dengan Kerja Sengan Stres Kerja Pegawai Dinas Pendidikan. This study aims to determine the correlation between work and work stress for employees of the education office. The population in this study were 60 Civil Servants of the Education Office. The sample in this study were 60 employees. Sampling using total sampling technique. Work stress in this study was measured based on aspects of work stress according to Behr and Newman (in, Luthans, 2005), namely: Physical Aspects, Psychic Aspects, and Behavioral Aspects. Workload in this research was measured based on aspects of workload according to Munandar (in Tambunan, 2013): Quantitative Overburden, Quantitative Too Little Burden, Qualitative Overload, Qualitative Too Little Burden. Based on the results of the analysis using the Product Moment r correlation analysis method, it is known that there is a positive relationship between workload and work stress where rxy = 0.138 with a significant p = 0.000 <0.050. This means that the proposed hypothesis: There is a positive relationship between workload and work stress. It is assumed that the lower the workload, the lower the work stress or vice versa, the higher the workload, the higher the work stress. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable X and the dependent variable Y is r2 = .019. This shows that workload contributes to work stress by 1.9%. This proves that there are 98.1% of other factors that affect work stress such as: work factors, physical demands and task demands, individual roles in organizations, career development, relationships in work, organizational structure and climate, and demands from outside the organization.
