dc.description.abstractPT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Adolina Sumatera Utara merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan kelapa sawit. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah Crude Palm Oil (CPO) . Dalam setiap proses pengolahan, perusahaan selalu mengutamakan kualitas CPO, dimana pabrik kelapa sawit (PKS) harus slalu memastikan bahwa selama proses berlangsung mutu minyak Sawit berada dalam standart atau ketentuan yang berlaku. Pengendalian mutu adalah penggunaan teknik-teknik dan aktivitas- aktivitas untuk mencapai, mempertahankan dan meningkatkan mutu suatu produk atau jasa. Sedangkan Statistical Quality Control merupakan sebuah teknik statistik yang digunakan secara luas untuk memastikan bahwa proses memenuhi standart dan dan terlalu tinnginya naik turun mutu yang tidak memastikan bahwa CPO berkualitas baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengendalian mutu minyak sawit, analisis dilakukan dengan cara mengelolah data inspeksi tujuh parameter mutu dengan menggunakan alat analisis grafik kendali dan digram sebab akibat. Berdasarkan analisis tidak ada data yang berada di luar batas kendali yang diterapakn oleh BSN. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diagram sebab akibat yang dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan dan wawancara terdapat lima faktoryang mempengaruhi pengendalian mutu CPO. Faktor itu sendiri meliputi bahan baku, lingkungaan kerja, manusia, metode kerja, dan bahan baku. PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Adolina North Sumatra is a company engaged in the processing of palm oil. The resulting product is Crude Palm Oil (CPO). In every processing process, the company always prioritizes the quality of CPO, where the palm oil mill (PKS) must always ensure that during the process the quality of the palm oil is within the applicable standards or regulations. Quality control is the use of techniques and activities to achieve, maintain and improve the quality of a product or service. Meanwhile, Statistical Quality Control is a statistical technique that is widely used to ensure that the process meets the standards and the high and low quality fluctuations do not ensure that the CPO is of good quality. This study aims to analyze the quality control of palm oil, the analysis is carried out by managing inspection data of seven quality parameters by using control chart analysis tools and causal diagrams. Based on the analysis there is no data that is outside the control limits applied by BSN. Based on the results of the causal diagram analysis conducted with field observations and interviews, there are five factors that affect the quality control of CPO. The factors themselves include raw materials, work environment, people, work methods, and raw materials.en_US
