Implementasi Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Kecamatan Sambul Kabupaten Dairi

Abstract

One of the main problems of development in the region is poverty where up to now there are still many residents of Dairi Regency, especially in poor Sumbul sub-district. In order to accelerate poverty alleviation in Kecamatn Sumbul, the government launched the Family Hope Program (PKH) which is intended for poor families to reduce the number of poor families and improve the quality of human resources for education and health which aims to find out how the implementation process of Hope Family Program District Sumbul Dairi Regency. The main targets of this program are pregnant women, lactating mothers, families with toddlers and school-age children at elementary and junior high schools.This research was conducted from March 6, 2017 until 27 April 2017 by using descriptive qualitative research method, data collecting technique through interview, observation and literature study. Interviews were conducted to key informants, consisting of Dinas Sosial, Dairi District, as many as 3 people, from UPPKH Kabupaten 2 people, 1 sub-district Sumbul Companion, and community leaders 2 persons. Cash assistance is given to very poor households, in return the poor families are required to meet the requirements related to efforts to improve the quality of human resources in education and health. Based on the results of research conducted in the field it can be concluded that the implementation of the Family Hope Program in the District Sumbul Implementation Program Family Hope in Sumbul District seen from several variables such as communication, resources, disposition and organizational structure is running well just that the distribution of assistance would be late from the post office .
