Abstract: | PT. Nusantara Door Industry merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur pembuatan pintu, jendela, kusen dan beberapa produk lain dengan bahan baku kayu. Perusahaan ini menerapkan sistem make to order yang berarti membuat produk akhir berdasarkan jumlah pesanan yang diperoleh dari data permintaan perusahaan. Permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi PT. Nusantara Door Industry adalah adanya Back Tracking, Cross Movement dan efisiensi yang rendah. Penyusunan tidak menurut derajat kedekatan yang dapat menimbulkan besarnya momen perpindahan diperusahaan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang ulang tata letak pabrik dengan menggunakan metode Konvensional dan Algoritma ALDEP (Automated Layout Desain Program). Berdasarkan layout aktual total momen perpindahan sebesar 2.182.050 m/bulan. Hasil rancangan layout usulan menggunakan metode Konvensional memiliki total momen perpindahan sebesar 1.043.484. m/bulan dan ALDEP memiliki total momen perpindahan sebesar 639.236 m/bulan. Didapatkan bahwa layout usulan terbaik adalah dengan menggunakan Algoritma ALDEP. Nilai efisiensi yang diperoleh dari layout aktual sebesar 43,42% sedangkan nilai efisiensi yang diperoleh dari layout usulan sebesar 76,47%. Berdasarkan perbandingan maka dapat dilihat bahwa layout yang memilki nilai efisiensi terbesar adalah layout usulan. PT. Nusantara Door Industry is a company engaged in manufacturing the manufacture of doors, windows, frames and several other products with wood raw materials. This company implements a make to order system which means making the final product based on the number of orders obtained from the company's request data. The problems being faced by PT. Nusantara Door Industry is the existence of Back Tracking, Cross Movement and low efficiency. The arrangement is not according to the degree of closeness which can lead to the magnitude of the moment of displacement in the company. Based on these problems, this study aims to redesign the factory layout using the Conventional method and the ALDEP (Automated Layout Design Program) Algorithm. Based on the actual layout, the total displacement moment is 2,182,050 m/month. The results of the proposed layout design using the conventional method have a total displacement moment of 1,043,484. m/month and ALDEP has a total displacement moment of 639,236 m/month. It was found that the best proposed layout is to use the ALDEP Algorithm. The efficiency value obtained from the actual layout is 43.42% while the efficiency value obtained from the proposed layout is 76.47%. Based on the comparison, it can be seen that the layout that has the greatest efficiency value is the proposed layout. |
