Abstract: Penelitan ini bertujuan mengetahui dan membuktikan hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kemampuan sosialisasi pada remaja di SMA Prayatna Medan. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kemampuan sosialisasi pada remaja di SMA Prayatna Medan dengan asumsi semakin baik komunikasi interpersonal pada remaja semakin tinggi kemampuan sosialisasinya, sebaliknya bila semakin buruk komunikasi interpersonal pada remaja maka semakin rendah kemampuan sosialisasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Analisis Korefasi Product Moment dengan teknik pengambilan data sampel menggunakan Stratified Proporsional Sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja kelas I,Il dan Ill di SMA Prayatna Medan dengan jumlah sampel 108 remajaberdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkkan terdapat hubungan yang positif yang sangat signifikan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kemampuan sosialisasi, dimana rxy = 0,576 ; p = 0.000, berarti p < 0,010, artinya semakin baik komunikasi interpersonal pada remaja, maka kemampuan sosialisasinya juga semakin tinggi, sebaliknya semakin buruk komunikasi interpersonal pada remaja, maka kemampuan sosialisasinya juga semakin rendah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ini, maka hipotesis yang telah djajukan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan diterima. Para siswa-siswi di SMA Prayatna Medan temyata memiliki komunikasi interpersonal yang tergolong baik, sebab nilai rata.-rata empirknya 107,568 selisihnya dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetik 85,000 tidak melebihi bilangan SD atau SB yang sebesar 7.587, sedangkan emampuan sosialisasi para siswaa-siswi yang tergolong tinggi, sebab nilai ratara:ta empirik 105,435 selisihnya dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetiknya (85,000) tidak rnelebihi bilangan SD atau SB yang sebesar 8,972. This research aims to find out and prove the relationship between Among interpersonal communication with socialization skills in adolescents in high school Prayatna Medan. The hypothesis proposed in this study is there positive relationship between interpersonal communication and ability socialization on teenagers at SMA Prayatna Medan with the assumption that the better interpersonal communication in adolescents the higher their socialization skills, otherwise if the worse interpersonal communication in adolescents, the lower socialization skills. This study uses the Product Correlation Analysis technique Moment with the technique of sampling data using Stratified Proportional sampling. The subjects of this study were teenagers in grades I, II and III in high school Prayatna Medan with a sample of 108 adolescents based on the results of the analysis data shows that there is a very significant positive relationship Among interpersonal communication with socialization skills, where rxy = 0,576; p = 0.000, meaning p < 0.010, meaning the better interpersonal communication on adolescents, the higher their socialization skills, on the contrary, the higher the poor interpersonal communication in adolescents, then the ability to socialize is also getting lower. Based on the results of this analysis, the hypothesis that has been proposed in this study is declared accepted. High school students Prayatna Medan in fact has good interpersonal communication, because the empirical average value is 107,568 the difference with the hypothetical average value 85,000 does not exceed the number of SD or SB which is 7,587, while the socialization ability of students who are classified as high, because the average value: ta empirically 105.435 the difference with the hypothetical mean (85,000) is not exceeds the SD or SB number which is 8.972.
