Komitmen Perkawinan pada Korban Perselingkuhan

Abstract

Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang bentuk komitmen perkawinan pada korban perselingkuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua orang responden dari dua pasang suami istri yaitu satu orang suami dan satu orang istri. Karakteristik responden pertama adalah seorang suami dengan usia 62 tahun, menikah pada bulan Juli 1991, mengetahui istri berselingkuh sejak tahun 2007 dan responden kedua yaitu seorang istri dengan usia 38 tahun, menikah pada bulan Juli 2002, mengetahui suami berselingkuh sejak tahun 2006. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kedua responden sebagai korban perselingkuhan dari pasangannya masing-masing, memiliki komitmen perkawinan dengan bentuk yang berbeda-beda. Responden pertama memiliki ketiga bentuk komitmen yaitu komitmen personal, komitmen moral dan komitmen struktural. Sedangkan responden kedua hanya memiliki dua buah bentuk komitmen perkawinan, yaitu komitmen struktural dan komitmen moral. Responden pertama dapat mempertahankan keutuhan rumah tangganya dan tetap merasa puas karena memiliki komitmen personal. Responden kedua dapat mempertahankan keutuhan rumah tangga tetapi merasa kering atau tidak bahagia karena tidak memiliki komitmen personal. A qualitative approach was used to collect data about form marital commitment to victims of infidelity. This research uses two respondents from two husband and wife pairs, namely one husband and one wife. The characteristics of the first respondent are a husband with age 62 years, married in July 1991, finds out wife is having an affair since 2007 and the second respondent is a wife with the age of 38 years, married on in July 2002, found out that her husband had an affair since 2006. The results of the study concluded that the two respondents as victims of infidelity from their respective partners, have a commitment marriage with different shapes. The first respondent has all three forms commitment, namely personal commitment, moral commitment and structural commitment. While the second respondent only has two forms of commitment marriage, namely structural commitment and moral commitment. First responder can maintain the integrity of the household and still feel satisfied because have a personal commitment. The second respondent can maintain the integrity household but feel dry or unhappy about not having personal commitment.
