Hubungan antara Persepsi Terhadap Sikap Over Protective Orangtua dengan Kemandirian Remaja di SMA Budi Murni 2 Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara persepsi remaja over terhadap sikap protective orangtua dengan kemandirian. Sejalan dengan landasan teori yang ada., diajukan hipotesis : 1. Ada hubungan yang negatif antara persepsi terhadap sikap over protective orangtua dengan kemandirian pada remaja. Artinya semakin positif persepsi terhadap sikap over protective orangtua maka kemandirian akan semakin rendah. Sebaliknya, semakin negatif persepsi terhadap sikap over protective orangtua maka kemandirian pada remaja akan semakin tinggi. 2. Remaja yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki lebih mandiri daripada remaja perempuan. Dalam membuktikan hipotesis diatas, maka digunakan metode analisis data product moment. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil : 1) terdapat hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara persepsi terhadap sikap over protective orangtua dengan kemandirian. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = - 0,612; p < 0,010. 2) Persepsi sikap over protective orangtua memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemandirian, berdasarkan analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah sebesar 37,5%. 3) Bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemandirian yang sangat signifikan antara pria dan wanita dan hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien perbedaan t-test, X = 0, 003 dengan p < 0,001, dan 4).
