Hubungan antara Self Efficacy dengan Prokrastinasi Akademik pada Siswa di SMA Advent Air Bersih Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan hubungan antara Self Efficacy dengan Prokrastinasi Akademik pada siswa di SMA Swasta Advent Air Bersih Medan, Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam peneletian ini adalah hubungan negatife antara Self Efficacy dengan Prokrastinasi Akademik pada siswa Sma Swasta Advent Air Bersih Medan dengan asumsi semakin tinggi Self Efficacy maka semakin rendah Prokrastinasi Akademik sebaliknya semakin tinggi Prokrastinasi Akademik maka semakin rendah Self Efficacy. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Analisis korelasi Product moment dengan pengambilan sample purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas 2 SMU dan berumur 16-18 tahun dengan sample 35 orang berdasarkan analisis data menunjukan terdapat hubungan negatife yang signifikan antara Self Efficacy dengan Prokrastinasi Akademik, dimana rxy = - 0,201 ; p < 0,010 artinya bahwa semakin rendah self efficacy maka semakin tinggi Prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini maka Hipotesis diterima. Siswa SMA Swasta Advent Air Bersih Medan ternyata memiliki Self Efficacy tergolong tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetik 72,5, sedangkan prokrastinasi Akademik tergolong sangat tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetik 67,5. This study aims to determine and prove the relationship between between Self Efficacy and Academic Procrastination in Private High School students Medan Clean Water Adventist, the hypothesis proposed in this research is negative relationship between Self Efficacy and Academic Procrastination in student Medan Clean Water Adventist Private High School with higher assumptions Self Efficacy, the lower the Academic Procrastination, on the contrary, the higher Academic Procrastination, the lower Self Efficacy. This study uses the product moment correlation analysis technique by taking purposive sampling. Research subject this is a grade 2 high school senior and aged 16-18 years with a sample of 35 people based on data analysis shows there is a significant negative relationship between Self Efficacy and Academic Procrastination, where rxy = - 0.201; p < 0.010 means that the lower self-efficacy, the higher Academic procrastination in these students. Based on the results of this study, The hypothesis is accepted. Medan Clean Air Adventist Private High School students have a relatively high Self Efficacy with a hypothetical average score 72.5, while Academic procrastination is classified as very high with an average score of hypothetical 67.5.
