Industrial development in Indonesia has increased quite rapidly. Competition in the industrial world requires companies to be able to improve the company's performance in order to compete with other competitors. The manufacture of aluminum boilers goes through various processes including, preparation of goods, making patterns on materials, measuring aluminum materials, cutting aluminum materials, assembling aluminum materials, refining materials, as well as checking and finishing. With research objectives 1. To find out the cause of the imbalance in the production line at CV. Cipta Jaya 2. To find out the level of efficiency on the production line at CV. Cipta Jaya. The number of work stations needed in the CV. Cipta Jaya in order to produce an optimal balance of production lines. The process of making aluminum boilers uses the Ranked Positional Weight method with the initial conditions being 7 work stations to 4 work stations. From this method, it can be concluded that using the Ranked Position Weight method is more optimal because it usually minimizes the number of existing work stations. The increase in line efficiency that can be obtained from line balancing formed by the Ranked Positional Weight (rpw) method has increased production by 54.45% where the initial conditions amounted to 16.66%. additional time is needed to work in order to meet the existing production capacity. | en_US |
