dc.description.abstract | Kerusakan pada mesin juga berdampak terhadap menurunnya kecepatan mesin, jam kerja mesin berhenti (downtime), availability dan performancy rendah dan menyebabkan penggunaan mesin menjadi tidak efektif. Oleh karena itu diperlukan langkah – langkah efektif dan efisien dalam pemeliharaan mesin dan peralatan untuk menanggulangi dan mencegah masalah tingginya nilai downtime. Total Produktive Maintenance (TPM) merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi produksi perusahaan dengan menggunakan mesin/peralatan secara efektif. TPM juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dengan cara meningkatkan fungsi dan kinerja mesin/peralatan yang digunakan dan mengeliminasi six big losses yang terdapat pada mesin/peralatan. Objek penelitian adalah mesin Crusher. data yang digunakan merupakan data breakdown yang terjadi di mesin crusher ME Monthly Report UD. Hannoc Medan dari bulan Januari 2017 – Desember 2017, diperoleh nilai overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) yang berkisar antara 64,18% - 80,20%. Dan nilai OEE tertinggi pada periode Oktober 2017 sebesar 80,20%, dan nilai OEE terendah terjadi pada periode Juni 2017 sebesar 64,18%. Solusi untuk melakukan perbaikan dengan konsep Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Damage to the engine also resulted in a decrease in engine speed, downtime, low availability and performance and the use of the machine was not effective. Therefore, effective and efficient steps are needed in the maintenance of machinery and equipment to overcome and prevent high value of downtime problems. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is one method that can be used to increase productivity and production efficiency of companies by using machinery / equipment effectively. TPM also aims to improve effectiveness by improving the function and performance of the machine / equipment used and eliminating the six big losses contained in the machine / equipment. The object of the research is the Crusher machine. The data used is the breakdown data that occurs in ME Monthly Report UD UD crusher machine. Hannoc Medan from January 2017 - December 2017, obtained the value of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) which ranged from 64.18% - 80.20%. And the highest OEE value in the period of October 2017 was 80.20%, and the lowest OEE value occurred in the June 2017 period of 64.18%.
