Berdasarkan analisis data, maka hipotesis dinyatakan diterima. This study aims to examine the correlation between authoritarian parenting and academic procrastination in class XI students at Smk Negeri 2 Pinggir. Based on the results of the screening test, the research sample was 57 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. . Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale model through two scales, namely the authoritarian parenting scale and the academic procrastination scale. Data analysis used the product moment correlation technique (0.614 with P = 0.000 < 0.010, meaning that there is a positive and significant correlation between authoritarian parenting and academic procrastination in class XI students at Smk Negeri 2 Pinggir, which indicates that the lower the authoritarian parenting style is obtained. the lower academic procrastination. On the other hand, the higher the authoritarian parenting style, the higher the academic procrastination behavior. Based on the results of the calculation of the data obtained, the level of authoritarian parenting in students in this study is high, where the hypothetical mean (70) < empirical mean (82.5) and the difference exceeds the number one SD (5,127). Academic procrastination is high, where the hypothetical mean (82.5) < empirical mean (92.32) and the difference exceeds the number one SD (9.273). The coefficient of determination of the correlation is (= 0.377, meaning that authoritarian parenting provides an effective contribution to academic procrastination by 37.7%. Based on data analysis, the hypothesis is accepted.
