Job satisfaction is an individual's feeling of a different job, whether it is pleasant or not, depending on the person who believes that there is a match between the value of the work and the results obtained, as well as the results of the interaction of the individual with his work environment. This study aims to test and obtain empirical data regarding differences in job satisfaction in terms of years of service. The hypothesis in this study is: There is a difference in job satisfaction in terms of tenure with the assumption that the longer the tenure, the higher the job satisfaction, on the contrary, the lower the tenure, the lower the job satisfaction. The population in this study were employees who worked at PTPN IV Kebun Adolina as many as 657 people but the subjects studied were 10% of the population as many as 65 people. Sampling was done by random sampling technique. This study uses a Likert scale instrument for job satisfaction scale. The job satisfaction scale is based on the characteristics according to Hamali (2018), namely; Full of hope, Happy, Passionate, Feeling happy and satisfied, Appreciate the work. based on data analysis, the results obtained that there is a difference between job satisfaction in terms of years of service. The results are proven by the anova coefficient of service period, where F= 3,301; p = 0.001 < 0.05. From the results of the calculation of the hypothetical mean and the empirical mean, it is obtained that the service period above 15 years has a higher satisfaction than the service period under 10 years. |
