Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara self efficacy dengan self regulated learning siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Air Batu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Air Batu yang berjumlah 224 siswa, dan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu berjumlah 112 siswa.Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala self efficacy dari teori Bandura 1997 mengenai magnitude generality, dan strength dan skala self regulated learnig dari teori Zimmerman 1990 mengenai aspek metakognisi, motivasi dan perilaku. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi korelasi p = 0,000 p < 0,05, artinya ada hubungan positif antara self efficacy dengan self regulated learning di SMP Negeri 1 Air Batu, dengan koefisien determinan (r2) sebesar 0,454 atau 45,4%. Dengan kata lain hipotesis diterima. Self regulated learning siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Air Batu tergolong tinggi dengan (mean empirik = 76,64 > mean hipotetik = 62,5 dimana selisihnya tidak lebih dari SD = 10,796) dan untuk self efficacy siswa tergolong tinggi (mean empirik = 98,25 > mean hipotetik = 77,5 dimana selisihnya tidak lebih dari SD = 11,675). The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a correlation between self efficacy and self regulated learning in students at SMPN 1 Air Batu. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population use in this research of class VII SMPN 1 Air Batu which amounted to 224 peoples, and the sample used amounted to 112 peoples. The sampling technique using Simple Random Sampling. The method of data collectionin this study used a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is Product Moment Correlation. The results of this study indicate the value of the product moment the correlation coefficient of rxy= 0,674 with a significance of p = 0.000 <0.05. This means that there is a positive correlation between self efficacy and self regulated learning in students at SMPN 1 Air Batu, with a determinant coefficient (r2) of 0,454 or 4,45%. In other words the hypothesis is accepted. Student’s Self regulated learning is classified as moderate (empirical mean = 76,64 > hypothetical mean = 62,5 where the difference is not more than SD = 10,796) and for student's self efficacy is classified as moderate (empirical mean = 98,25 > hypothetical mean = 77,5 where the difference is not more than SD = 11,675).
