Pengukuran Beban Kerja Mental Karyawan bagian Produksi dengan Metode Defence Research Agency Workload Scale (DRAWS) pada PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk.

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang produksi pulp. Penjualan tidak dapat memenuhi target karena penjualan menurun, lalu perusahaan berusaha agar dapat mencapai target, dengan cara menuntut para operator bekerja lebih keras, sehingga akibatnya ditunjukkan dengan menurunnya produktivitas dan tugas yang diberikan atasan kepada pekerja dilantai produksi tidak terkontrol. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan pengukuran agar diketahui apa penyebab utama dan beban kerja mental apa yang dirasakan operator. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode DRAWS untuk melakukan pengukuran yang dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali secara bertahap di 3 stasiun kerja, kuisioner yang digunakan berisi 9 pertanyaan dengan 4 variabel DRAWS. Hasil dari pengolahan data dari total score setiap stasiun kerja menunjukkan bahwa stasiun kerja woodyard dan fiberline berada di skor <60% yang berarti bahwa kedua stasiun tersebut mengalami overload. Pada total rata-rata penilaian rating, seluruh stasiun kerja menunjukkan bahwa time pressure adalah beban kerja yang paling dominan dirasakan oleh pekerja. Untuk stasiun kerja yang memiliki rata-rata skor 61,08% atau overload ada pada stasun kerja woodyard dan faktor utama penyebab beban kerja yang tinggi ada di variabel time pressure, karena operator merasa aktivitas pekerjaan pada variabel tersebut lebih besar. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in pulp production. Sales could not meet the target because sales decreased, then the company tried to achieve the target, by demanding the operators work harder, so the result was shown by decreased productivity and the tasks assigned by superiors to workers on the production floor were not controlled. The purpose of this study was to take measurements to find out what the main causes and mental workload felt by the operator. This study uses the DRAWS method to carry out measurements carried out 3 times in stages at 3 work stations, the questionnaire used contains 9 questions with 4 DRAWS variables. The results of data processing from the total score of each work station indicate that the woodyard and fiberline work stations are at a score of <60%, which means that both stations are overloaded. In the total average rating rating, all work stations show that time pressure is the most dominant workload felt by workers. For work stations that have an average score of 61.08% or overload, there is a woodyard work station and the main factor causing a high workload is the time pressure variable, because the operator feels that the work activity on that variable was greater.
