dc.description.abstract | Beban kerja merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. masalah akan terjadi jika beban kerja yang diterima karyawan tidak sesuai. misalnya ada karyawan yang memiliki beban kerja berlebih (overload), sedangkan pegawai lainnya memiliki beban kerja yang kurang (underload). Masalah seperti ini juga terjadi di PT. XYZ. Sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui kondisi beban kerja yang kemudian dapat digunakan untuk merencanakan jumlah pegawai. Metode yang digunakan adalah full time equivalent (FTE) untuk menentukan beban kerja setiap operator dengan mengubah jam beban kerja menjadi jumlah orang yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan suatu pekerjaan tertentu. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan adanya ketidakseimbangan beban kerja pada 21 operator. dimana 11 operator mengalami underloaded beban kerja atau nilai antara 0-0,99 yang terdapat pada bagian stasiun Loading ramp, Perebusan dan Boiler. Selanjutnya 1 operator memiliki beban kerja normal dengan nilai 1-1,28 sedangkan 9 operator di beberapa setiap stasiun memiliki beban kerja berlebihan beban dengan nilai diatas 1,28 terkategori overload. Hasil yang diperoleh karyawan yang optimal adalah sebanyak 21 karyawan sehingga perlu memindahkan operator yang overload ke underload di setiap stasiun agar beban kerja yang dihasilkan secara merata di setiap stasiun. Workload is one of the factors that affect employee performance. Problems will occur if the employees received inappropriate workload. For example, there are employees who have an excess workload (overload), while other employees have a less workload (underload). Problems like this also occurred in PT. XYZ. So it needed to do research to determine the condition of the workload which then be able used to plan the number of employees. The method used was full time equivalent (FTE) to determine the workload of each operator by converting the hours of workload into the number of people needed to complete a particular job. From the results, it was found that there was an imbalance in the workload of 21 operators, where 11 operators experienced underloaded workloads or values between 0-0.99 contained in the Loading ramp, Boiler and Boiler stations. Furthermore, 1 operator had a normal workload with a value of 1-1.28. While 9 operators at several stations had an excessive workload with a value above 1.28 which was categorized as overload. The optimal results obtained by employees were as many as 21 employees so it was necessary to move overloaded operators to the underloaded at each station so that the workload generated was evenly distributed at each station. | en_US |
