Abstract: Nilai kuat tekan beton dengan kuat tariknya tidak berbanding lurus, setiap usaha perbaikan mutu beton kekuatan tekan hanya disertai oleh peningkatan kuat tarik berkisar antara 9 % - 15 % kuat tekannya. Nilai pastinya sulit diukur(Ir. Tri M. 2004). The value of the compressive strength of concrete and its tensile strength is not directly proportional, every effort to improve the quality of the compressive strength of concrete is only accompanied by an increase in tensile strength ranging from 9% - 15% of its compressive strength. The exact value is difficult to measure(Ir. Tri M. 2004). In this study, the addition of polypropylene fiber with a length of 50 mm was used with variations of 0%, 0.3%, 0.45% and 0.6% respectively. From the results of the study, it was found that for a mixture of normal and high-strength concrete, the effective dose of polypropylene was added at a variation of 0.9%. The increase in split tensile strength that occurs in normal concrete is 15.8% for the age of 7 days, as well as the age of 14 days has an increase of 27.7% compared to concrete without fiber. The water-cement factor used is 0.48, while the method used in mixing concrete uses the SNI method. For the split tensile strength test, a cylindrical specimen with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm was used with a test age of 7 and 14 days.
