dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial dan self efficacy dengan keterlibatan siswa SMK Swasta YPT Pangkalan Susu Kabupaten Langkat. Dukungan sosial adalah ketersediaan sumber daya yang memberikan kenyamanan fisik dan psikologis yang didapat melalui interaksi dengan orang lain (keluarga maupun teman). Selfefficacy adalah suatu keyakinan diri yang dimiliki oleh seseorang dalam mengorganisir dan melakukan suatu kegiatan untuk mencapai tujuan yang diharapkannya. Keterlibatan siswa/student engagement adalah usaha siswa untuk melibatkan diri secara behavioral, emotional, dan cognitive dalam aktivitas pembelajaran Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada Ada hubungan positif antara dukungan sosial dan self efficacy dengan keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik sampling total sampling, sampel berjumlah 220 siswa. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan model skala likert. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala dukungan sosial dan self efficacy dan skala keterlibatan siswa. Metode analisis data regresi berganda. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan, maka di peroleh Rxy) = 0,499 dengan p = 0.000 < 0.050, denga BE% = 28,7%. This study aims to determine the correlation between social support and selfefficacy with the engagement of private vocational school students YPT Pangkalan Susu, Langkat Regency. Social support is the availability of resources that provide physical and psychological comfort obtained through interaction with other people (family and friends). Self-efficacy is a self-confidence that is owned by a person in organizing and carrying out an activity to achieve the expected goals. Student engagement is the effort of students to engage themselves behaviorally, emotionally, and cognitively in learning activities. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a positive relationship between social support and self-efficacy with student engagement. This study uses a quantitative approach. Sampling technique is total sampling, the sample is 220 students. The data collection method used a Likert scale model. This study uses a scale of social support and self-efficacy and a scale of student engagement. Multiple regression data analysis method.
