Hubungan Body Image dengan Kecenderungan Perilaku Narsistik pada Mahasiswa Psikologi Stambuk 2015 di Universitas Medan Area

Abstract

Liability of narcisstic behavior is behavior has been given loving in self be excessive. Nevid & Rathus (2003) say that factor which factor make narcisstic behavior is loving in self be marked by self image who high and requirement of care and adoration who make body image from self. this research intend to know relation of body image with liability of narcisstic behavior in college student 2015 in University of Medan Area. Samples of research is 60 human with taking of samples by purpossive Sampling technik. used of Measuring instrument is 2 scale is body image scale using four aspect from Cash (2002) and liability of narcisstic behavior scale by characteristics of Muis (2009). Methods of data collection using the semantic differential scale is composed of body image scale and the scale narcissistic behavior tendencies. Methods of data analysis using the technique of pearson product moment correlation. And output of this research is show there are significan of relation body image and liability of narcisstic behavior is rxy = 0,473with P =0,000 < 0,050, contributed by body image is 22,4% of liability of narcisstic behavior
